Wyoming vs. Fresno State (-13) Over/Under 55

The Fresno State Bulldogs come into this game with an overall record of 8-4, 6-2 in the WAC. The Wyoming Cowboys are 6-6 overall, 4-4 in the MWC. The Bulldogs high powered offense which is averaging 435 overall yards and 34.3 points per game will certainly test a Cowboy defense that is giving up over 170 yards per game on the ground. Look for Fresno State RB Ryan Mathews to have a big day in this one.

St. Petersburg Bowl – Saturday, December 19th, 8:00 P.M.

University of Central Florida vs. Rutgers (-3) Over/Under 45

The UCF Knights are currently 8-4 overall, 6-2 in the Conference USA. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are 8-4 overall, 3-4 in the Big East. In a battle of Knights, Rutgers gets the slight edge given the somewhat tougher level of in- conference competition they have faced this season. The big advantage for UCF is given the fact that the game is being played in Florida gives them the home field advantage. Rutgers’s WR Tim Brown, who went over 1000 receiving this season will be the primary target for QB Tom Savage.

R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl – Sunday, December 20th,8:30 P.M.

Middle Tennessee State vs. Southern Mississippi (-4) Over/Under 58

The Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders are 9-3 overall, 7-1 in the Sun Belt. The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles are 7-5 overall, 5-3 in the Conference USA. M Tenn St is currently riding a six game winning streak while So Miss is coming off a tough 25-20 loss to East Carolina in their final game of the season. This one should end up as a shootout as both teams are averaging over 400 yards of total offense and 30 points a game.

MAACO Las Vegas Bowl – Tuesday, December 22nd, 8:00 P.M.

Oregon State vs. Brigham Young (-3) Over/Under 61

The Oregon State Beavers are 8-4 overall, 6-3 in the PAC 10. The BYU Cougars are 10-2, 7-1 in the MWC. Oregon State was one win away from a PAC 10 title and a trip to the Rose Bowl. They will face a Cougar team that has the 18th ranked offense in college football. These two teams have previously met eight times with the Beaver’s holding a slight five to three game edge. This will be BYU’s fifth straight appearance in this bowl.

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl – Wednesday, December 23rd , 8:00 P.M.

Utah vs. California (-3) Over/Under 53

The Utah Utes come into this game 9-3, 6-2 in the MWC. The California Golden Bears are currently 8-4, 5-4 in the PAC 10. Utah has won eight straight bowl appearances including a huge upset last year over Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Cal is coming off an embarrassing 41-10 loss to Washington in their last game that cost them a chance to play in the Holiday Bowl. The Golden Bears will pin their hopes in this game on the arm of QB Kevin Riley, who passed for over 2600 yards in the regular season.
