- #2 Seed Robin Soderling will defeat defending champion #3 Seed Tommy Robredo in Sunday’s Finals of the Catella Swedish Open Tennis Championships.
- #3 Seed Tomas Berdych will defeat #2 Seed Nikolay Davydenko in Sunday’s Finals of the Mercedes Cup Tennis Championships.
- The National Leaguers will capture Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star game in St Louis. This victory will be the first victory by the NL since 1996.
- Hanley Ramirez will win the MVP of the MLB All-Star game on Tuesday night in St Louis. Ramirez will have two hits, including a HR, a stolen base, and will score twice.
- NL Starter Tim Lincecum will get the win in Tuesday night’s MLB All-Star game. Lincecum will throw 2 scoreless innings giving up only one hit, while striking out 3 American League All-Stars.
- The Indiana Pacers will sign free agent SG Dahntay Jones as early as Tuesday.
- Despite rumors of him signing with the Miami Heat, free agent SG Allen Iverson will sign with the LA Clippers as early as Friday.
- Look for the Cleveland Cavaliers to sign free agent SF Matt Barnes this week.
- The Lakers will resign PF Lamar Odom this week.
- The Jets releasing of TE Bubba Franks (ATS Consultants told you that would happen weeks ago) will ensure rookie and ex-basketball player J’Nathan Bullock’s spot on the depth chart. Can somebody say the second coming of Antonio Gates?
- The Bears will sign recently cut QB Brian Griese this week.
- The Patriots will sign free agent LB Derrick Brooks this week.
- Brett Favre will be rumored to be in Minnesota this week. Apparently he has purchased some real estate there.
- Tony Romo will not comment on the rumors that Jessica Simpson’s severe weight gain was the major reason for him ending their relationship. ATS Consultants have a theory. Romo saw Joanna Krupa rip into Terrell Owens on The Superstars TV show … and fell in love.
- The Chicago Cubs will sign recently cut and waiver cleared relief pitcher BJ Ryan as soon as Wednesday.
- The Yankees will acquire starting pitcher Gil Meche, not All-Star starter Roy Halladay – Meche will start for the Yankees on Sunday.
- The aforementioned Halladay will land in LA. As the Dodgers will complete a deal for the All-Star pitcher this week.
