- Look for 6th seeded Andy Roddick to face Benjamin Becker in the 3rd round of Wimbledon in route to his Quarterfinal match with 23rd seeded Radek Stepanek.

- 3rd seeded Andy Murray will cruise into his Wimbledon Quarterfinal matchup with unseeded Mikhail Youzhny.

- 4th seeded Novak Djokovic will meet the 24 seed Tommy Haas in the Quarterfinals of Wimbledon.

- 2nd seeded (Top seeded) Roger Federer will meet French Open rival Robin Soderling in the 4th round, in route to his Quarterfinal match with 7th seeded Fernando Verdasco.

- Thursday night, at Madison Square Garden, Oklahoma Power Forward Blake Griffin will be selected #1 in the NBA by the LA Clippers, remember you heard it here first!

- Sure Blake Griffin is no surprise at #1, but in a really surprising move, look for the Memphis Grizzlies to select Davidson guard Stephen Curry with the second selection. Curry had been projected as low as #8 in some mock drafts.

- With the 3rd pick in the NBA draft, look for the Oklahoma City Thunder will select UCONN center Hasheem Thabeet.

- The Sacramento Kings will select Arizona State SG James Harden with the 4th Selection in the NBA draft.

- Rounding out the top 10 in the NBA Draft on Thursday will be Jordan Hill (Washington), Tyreke Evans (Minnesota), Ricky Rubio (Golden State), Jonny Flynn (NY Knicks), Earl Clark (Toronto), and DeMar DeRozan (Milwaukee).

- Expect the Packers to lock in WR Greg Jennings with a five-year $37 million deal this week. Jennings is one of the best targets in the NFL, and along with young gunslinging QB Aaron Rodgers, the pack should have a great TD tandem for years to come.

- Patriots LB Teddy Bruschi will announce his retirement on Friday from the NFL. Look for Bruschi to stay on with the Patriots as an assistant, probably something to do with the linebacker corps.

- The Chicago Bears will sign free agent QB Gus Frerotte this week, to backup newly acquired QB Jay Cutler. Sorry Bears fans about your QB situation, its awful.

- The Bears were probably trying to wait for the Browns to cut QB Derek Anderson, which could happen as earlier as next week.

- Look for the Chicago White Sox to deal outfielder Scott Podsednik to the NY Mets this week. With the injury to Carlos Beltran, the Mets outfield depth is non-existent.

- The NY Yankees will complete a deal with the Cleveland Indians for 3B Mark DeRosa.

- The LA Angels will complete a deal for Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo. In exchange the Reds will get back Double-A pitcher Ken Herndon.

- The Cleveland Indians will also activate All-Star CF Grady Sizemore from the DL on Tuesday. Look for Sizemore to be in the starting lineup Tuesday night at Pittsburgh.

- Super Filly & Preakness Stakes winner, Rachel Alexandra will return to racing with a 6 length victory in the short fielded (only 4 projected to run) Grade I Mother Goose Stakes raced at Belmont Park on Saturday. Grade III winner Flashing will complete the very short exacta. Look for the exacta to pay about $5.20

- #42 Chevrolet Driver Juan Pablo Montoya will win the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 over defending champion Kurt Busch this Sunday.

- US Open winner, Lucas Glover will drop out of this week’s Travelers Championship, despite being schedule to play.

- Ricky Barnes will follow up his 2nd place at the US Open will a missed cut this week at the Travelers Championship.

- Mathias Gronberg will outduel Anthony Kim in a playoff this week to win the Travelers Championship played in Cromwell, Connecticut.

- “King” Arthur Abraham will retain his IBF Middleweight Championship belt this Saturday in Berlin, as he knockout Mahir “The Lion” Oral in the 4th Round.

- The best filly in the country, Zenyatta will cruise to a 5 length victory in this Saturday’s Grade I Vanity Handicap at Hollywood Park. Look for Modification and Life is Sweet to complete the exotics.

- 3 year old filly Hightap will win the Grade II $200K Iowa Oaks this Friday at Prairie Meadows.

- 3 year old Terrain will capture this Saturday’s Iowa Derby raced at Prairie Meadows.

- The final four women left standing at Wimbledon will be #19 seeded Na Li, #1 seeded Dinara Safina, #4 seeded Elena Dementieva, and #10 seeded Nadia Petrova. That’s right, no Williams Sisters and no Sharapova in the Semi’s, at least in women’s singles.

- Look for two pretty major NBA trades to go down this week. Look for the Rockets to deal Tracy McGrady and Joey Dorsey to Milwaukee for Richard Jefferson and Dan Gadzuric. Also, look for Portland to deal Steve Blake and Martell Webster to Chicago for Kirk Hinrich.
