Baseball player’s wife attacked, bystanders help
Pittsburgh catcher Chris Snyder’s wife was involved in an altercation on Wednesday, as the he sat helpless in a car due to back surgery according
to police.
Carla Snyder and the scooter-riding man, Subhash Arjanbhi Modhwadia, nearly collided Wednesday according to investigators. The 44-year-old Modhwadia followed her to a gas station, kicked the vehicle and swung at Carla Snyder. Authorities say he ripped a mirror off the car.
Modhwadia was charged with aggravated assault, assault, criminal mischief and driving with an invalid license. He is being held on $25,000 bail.
A Pittsburgh Pirates spokesman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette the team is thankful people stepped in to keep the family from harm.
