Week 9 of the NFL season made for some early drama.
In Indianapolis, the unbeaten Colts were baffled all day by the up-and-coming Houston Texans. Behind 17-13 in the 4th quarter, the Colts marched down the field. Joseph Addai managed a 2-yard TD run with just over seven minutes remaining, putting the Colts ahead. Matt Schaub marched the Texans back down the field and set up kicker Kris Brown for a game-tying FG.
Brown’s kick sailed left as time expired, and the Colts remain undefeated.
Elsewhere, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers upsetthe Green Bay Packers 38-28 at Raymond James Stadium. The Packers had an opportunity to tie or go ahead at the end of the game but Aaron Rodgers threw an INT deep in Green Bay territory and the Bucs returned it for the TD, landing their first victory of the season. Rookie QB Josh Freeman led the way for Tampa, throwing for 205 yards and three touchdowns.
