NFL Week 1 Preview: Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers
The 2009 NFL season has finally arrived and it kicks off with a bang tonight as the Pittsburgh Steelers host to the Tennessee Titans. The Titans were the last team to beat the Steelers last year, as they headed to their sixth Super Bowl.

The Steelers have lost just two starting players from last season’s Super Bowl-winning team. They likely will not have first-year starter Lawrence Timmons (ankle sprain).
Tennessee, meanwhile, has one question mark…new WR Nate Washington, who came to the Titans via Pittsburgh. They will have Kerry Collins back at quarterback, as he tried to shake off last year’s playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
This game will come down to turnovers and key plays. Remember, too, that the Steelers haven’t lost a game on opening night since the Thursday games began.
