ray lewis Ray Lewis Fined $25,000 for Ochocinco Hit, Will Appeal (VIDEO)Baltimore Ravens LB Ray Lewis has been hit with a $25,000 for his monstrous hit on Chad Ochocinco that knocked the helmet off the Cincinnati Bengals receiver last Sunday.

Reports indicate that Lewis will appeal the fine.

The hit drew a 15-yard penalty.  It took place during the Bengals’ last drive of the game. The penalty enabled Cincinnati to continue its drive down the field and score one final TD for a 17-14 win over the Ravens.

The Bengals have now won four consecutive games and sit atop the AFC North with a 4-1 record. The Ravens are 3-2 and have lost two in a row.
