An agreement now seems to be in place sending Roy Halladay to the Philadelphia Phillies, Cliff Lee to the Seattle Mariners, and prospects to the Toronto Blue Jays, according to sources
It looks as though Phillipe Aumont, a Canadian right-hander, is one of the players heading from Seattle to Toronto in the deal. Philly is also expected to send one of its outfield prospects, perhaps Michael Taylor, to the Jays.
It’’s not clear exactly how many players are involved in the trade. An official announcement may not come until Tuesday. This could mean that the review of medical records has yet to be completed.
Halladay in currently in Philadelphia, presumably to negotiate a contract extension, take a physical or maybe both.
