Rumors: Could Brett Favre Return?
Could Brett Favre be contemplating a return to the NFL?
The “retired” quarterback has just gone to see orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews for an examination of his throwing arm.
Ed Werder and Chris Mortensen of ESPN report that Favre consulted with Andrews to discuss options for repairing Favre’s partially torn biceps tendon. Apparently, the word from the doctor is that there are various exercises that Favre can perform, and he would like to sign with the Minnesota Vikings should those exercises pay off.
Brett Favre definitely seems to want to play, but doesn’t want to suffer through surgery and a long healing process.
He is currently an unrestricted free agent, but seems very interested in playing for the Vikings.
