Tim Tebow, quarterback for top-ranked Florida Gators, was released from a Lexington, Kentucky hospital on Sunday morning, just 12 hours after suffering a concussion during the third quarter of the Gators win over Kentucky.

Florida head coach Urban Meyer spent the night in the hospital with Tebow and told reporters his quarterback was “doing fine.”

Florida has a bye this week before playing at Number 4 Louisiana State on October 10.

Tebow’s status for the game against the Tigers will not be known until later this week.
