Hockey is over tonight, basketball could be over on Sunday, Interleague play returns this weekend and we have the College Baseball World Series on tap.

On Friday night, the long NHL season ends with Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Detroit looks to hoist their second straight cup, while Pittsburgh is attempting to steal it from them in the Motor City. The game takes place tonight at 8pmET on a real network-NBC.

On Saturday, fans can track the 24 hours of Le Mans race on the Speed Channel. The coverage starts at 8:30amET and continues at 4:30 and midnight. The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world’s oldest sports car race in endurance racing, held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, Sarthe, France. Commonly known as the Grand Prix of Endurance, it runs on a circuit containing closed public roads that are meant not only to test a car and driver’s ability to be quick, but also to last over a 24 hour period.

There’s a WBO Welterweight title fight on HBO between Miguel Cotto and John Clottey. The fight is televised beginning at 10:35pmET and takes place in Madison Square Garden, in New York City. The latest money line has Cotto at -350 and Clottey +275.

The college season is about to end as the NCAA Division I men’s and women’s Outdoor track and field championships take place Saturday. The meet is televised on CBS at 1pm from Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Phil Mickelson is back from his hiatus, helping his wife cope with breast cancer, and shot a 68 in the opening round. That still put seven shots off the lead (Brian Gay) at press time.

Interleague coverage is back on FOX as the Mets take on the Yankees in the Bronx; St. Louis is at Cleveland and the Chicago White are at Milwaukee. One of those games will be televised in your area at 4pmET.

Major league baseball and Interleague play continues on Sunday as the final gme of Mets and Yankee series is televised on TBS at 1pmET. Minnesota takes on the Chicago Cubs in another exciting Interleague game at 2:10pmET on WGN. Finally at night, St. Louis takes on Cleveland on ESPN Sunday night matchup at 8pmET.

In motor sports, the good news is that 24 Hours of Le Mans finish is televised on the Speed Channel. The bad news is that you have to wake up early to see it on a Sunday morning (6amET).

In NASCAR, the Sprint Cup’s LifeLock 400 takes place on TNT at 2pmET. The race takes place in Michigan International Speedway and the favorite is Carl Edwards, who won it in 2007. Last year, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was the victor, but he hasn’t done a whole lot since then.

The Orlando Magic hope to salvage one more game of the series when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers for Game 5 of the NBA Finals in Orlando on ABC at 8pmET. If this game goes overtime, it’s not going back to Disneyland.
